imagine that the phalanx is a spy trying to get a train schedule from a train depot with the planet being a civilian train depot and the moon being an ultra-secure military depot
Phalanxing a moon isn't possible. Neither is it possible to phalanx a debris field (the equivalent of an abandoned or destroyed depot - because there are no stops scheduled there for passengers - it isn't on the itinerary) However - they can phalanx the planet (depot) for a departure and return time.
If something is being sent to a planet (it doesn't matter from moon/planet) the phalanx (spy) can go to the planet (depot) and get a copy of the itinerary of arrivals and departures.
Anything from a public depot (arrival or departure times) can then be determined. If it is being sent from a planet to a moon as a deployment, there is no "arrival time" because the info is ommitted because the end destination is a secure location and departure time isn't determined until you hit "send."
If transported from planet to moon, there is a departure time and return time available because the planet (depot) being phalanxed (spied on) has a departure and arrival itinerary posted for the train...it's departure and return arrival are at an unsecured location.
So just imagine it like this and you will be able to figure out on your own when anything is visible or not visible...but just in case...when in doubt, follow the rules posted in the training section of the forum for what is visible and what isn't
